November 15th & 16th from 4-8pm

The Aveson's Fundraising Action Team invites you to support the Healthy Living and Culinary Arts Program.


This is an opportunity to build our full functioning Scratch Kitchen and Culinary Arts Center.

Don't let our dreams be pie in the sky. Take them out of the clouds and put them into the Aveson Kitchen.

Come by the fundraising table right outside the Aveson Kitchen Thursday and Friday evening.

A gift of

$5 will help Aveson cover the cost of incredients for 3 students for a week of Culinary Arts Class.

$25 will buy much needed pots, pans, knives, ladles or cleaning supplies.

$100 + will assist with essential kitchen enhancements and improvements.

Every drop counts.........

Here's the Dish for What's Been Cooking at the Aveson Cafe.

Thanks to the generous donation from PUSD who donated 50% of the cost, we now have a 6 burner Vulcan stove. Let's Cook!

Mr. B put his culinary talents to work when he cooked the first meal in the Aveson kitchen for the staff on September 28, staff inservice day. The staff experienced a little bit of Italy with a delicious lunch of lasagne, garlic bread and salad. Bon Appetito!

Three cheers for the students who have been helping out at the Aveson Cafe during lunch periods. They are doing a super job.

Big News!!! We are starting culinary classes today, October 22. More exciting details and stories to follow on the students first taste of cooking with our own Chef Mr. B.

Tuesday, October 23rd a meeting is planned to discuss the details on the kitchen fundraiser for our soon to be complete and fabulous scratch kitchen. We are counting the days when our Aveson Cafe scratch kitchen will be up and running. We can't wait.
